Traveling wall to bring Vietnam memories to Boulder

The Dignity Memorial Vietnam Wall -- a three-quarter scale replica of the memorial in Washington, D.C. -- will visit Boulder later this month to honor those killed in the Vietnam War.

The wall is scheduled to arrive July 17 at the Colorado state line from Kansas, where it will be met by a motorcycle escort of hundreds of veterans and other supporters, who will ride with the memorial non-stop to Boulder. The wall will open to the public with a ceremony on July 18, and will remain open 24 hours a day until the evening of July 20.
