Expert offers condition guide for APBA cards
Submitted by Waxpak on Mon, 09/01/2008 - 20:47.
Here's a guide to condition for APBA cards from Don Adams of North Brunswick, N.J., an APBA collector since 1953 and a member of the APBA Hall of Fame.
MINT - same condition as the day they left the game company.
NEAR MINT - Slight wear and/or minimal pencil notations
VERY GOOD - Used, but in reasonable condition. May have some written notations on the cards (e.g., team name, year, master game symbols, etc.)
GOOD - Obviously used. May have some inked notations on the cards.
POOR - Cards are readable, but are well worn and/or have numerous notations in ink.
VERY POOR - Cards are dirty, creased, stained or badly faded.
